1. THEY'RE EVERYWHERE.

It's not just your cell phone, tablet, TV or computer that emits blue light. The main source (you can't guess!) is sunlight. The fact is that the sun's rays cover the entire rainbow spectrum from ultraviolet (UV) to infrared, and blue takes up most of the spectrum. In fact, blue makes up a third of the light visible to the human eye. That's why the sky has a blue color, by the way.

Unlike green or red, blue has a short wavelength and a high frequency of oscillation.  This means that blue wavelengths partially reach the eye floor, the rest is scattered along the way, the image is less clear. Considering how much time we spend in front of the screen every day, our eyes are constantly straining and we feel tired, pressure and headaches faster. 

 

3. ONE MORE ARTICLE AND BEDTIME

A familiar situation: the time is long past midnight, and you still can't put aside your smartphone, and when you try to fall asleep afterwards, nothing works? No wonder, because blue light is a known sleep disruptor. Our body is highly sensitive to blue light, the latter being able to interfere with biorhythms (the internal "clock" responsible for cycles of sleep, wakefulness and other repetitive body phenomena). We are different: some of us respond to blue more, others less. But it's a fact: Hanging out on social media, on YouTube or in front of the TV before bedtime can cause disruption of our biorhythms. So how do you stop? Think about how you'll get up tomorrow. And try putting off gadgets until the morning.

5. HOW TO REDUCE YOUR NEGATIVE EFFECTS?
