The rules of shades in makeup
Galina Ilyina, Oriflame's official makeup artist, tells us how to plan your makeup so that all the shades in it blend together harmoniously.
What's your accent?
In Lipstick and shadow combinations, it's best to avoid color similarity. If the lips are painted a rich and bright shade, the eye makeup is better to do in a restrained and calm range. Correspondingly, if the lips are a natural shade, the eyes become the center of make-up and accentuate them with bright noticeable shades. But the blush and lipstick should not be identical, but they should be related tones of the same color scheme.
Go easy on the red.
Red lipstick by itself is already self-sufficient and does not require additional accents. But a little pearlescent shadow in a golden shade will add a certain charm to the image. If you apply a red lipstick, you should use a brownish-peach shade as a blush and accentuate the contouring rather than the blush.
Add piercing arrows.
Lipsticks in a shade of nude, peach, pink look harmonious with chocolate or bronze Smokey Ice. You can also experiment with shades, for example, using bright colors (green, blue, orange) to trace a thin arrow or lift the lower eyelid.
The right look - a fresh look
Berry shades in makeup attract a lot of attention, so you should not do active eye makeup. Use matte, beige shadow or nude with shimmer. Using a bright fuchsia on the lips, you can give your face a light blush with a delicate pink shade. This will refresh your face!
How blush and lipstick go together
Combine wine, burgundy and brown shades of lipstick with peach blush. Apply them in a thin, almost weightless layer, they will give a light shade to the face and will not distract attention from the lips.
